Rehab - Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy

At Rich Mt Nursing & Rehab Center, we employ a team of physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), and speech language pathologists (SLPs) who work together to provide focused, individualized treatment and rehabilitation for our residents.

• Physical therapy address deficits in posture, balance, strength, and walking.

• Occupational therapy focuses on activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating as well as instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as home management and community reintegration.

• Speech therapy address swallowing problems, memory disorders, and communication deficits.

Treatment intervention is directed toward regaining maximum functional ability. The resident and their family members are actively involved in all aspects of the rehabilitation process, from goal setting to discharge planning.
