As part of Advocat's commitment to corporate compliance, a detailed corporate compliance plan is in place. The plan explains the legal and ethical standards that govern Advocat's business activities. It provides guidance to employees in reaching legal and ethical solutions to the challenges they face in their daily activities. The plan also informs all employees of the resources in place to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and advises them to report areas of concern. The corporate compliance plan applies to all directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, and members of the medical staff who hold administrative positions, have procurement authority, or serve on Advocat's board or board committees.
